Don't be so optimistic. Your logs and captures are still under the new location and are still mixed up.

7. Any ideas on how to override Eve storing stuff under %HOMEPATH% ? - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Edited by: Inf X on 20/06/2007 11:45:25 Just an idea... If Eve takes the home drive/path from %HOMEDRIVE%/%HOMEPATH% ... We could just start it from a bat file that overrides those. Yea, i know this is unlikely they use the env. variables ...

10. "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" /end /LUA:OFF does not work! - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Log written under current user are BAD. It's not just the size of the logs that matters. If i bring eve to someone else's PC on USB mass storage media and start it from there, i don't want it to store logs on someone else's PC, i want them on MY M...

11. "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" /end /LUA:OFF does not work! - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Obviously the right shortcut would be "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" /end /LUA:OFF With the exe path in "-s and the command line params after it. It indeed uses the cache from its own folder when executed with those params, but it still creat...

Edited by: Inf X on 19/06/2007 22:44:18 Now the question is if there is a switch that moves all that data back to the Eve's directory automatically. If not, can someone post the New ==> Old directories mapping to do it manually ? Edit: nev...

14. Rev II client not working, HELP! - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Any idea if there is a way to tell Eve to work as before, keeping everything under it's own directory ? I kinda find this "new location" totally inconvenient. This is especially bad for those used to take Eve with them on a USB flash drive.
